I'd like to suggest including the "L. Ron Hubbard Life Exhibition" on Hollywood between Cahuenga and Vine under the "free museums" header. A friendly Scientology docent will happily take you on the 45-minute guided tour. The exhibits fall somewhere between "bizarre" and "surreal" on the f-meter ("f" for freaky) because they haven't been updated since the late eighties. Ironically, the life-size dioramas in primary colors and video testimonials by eighties celebs (a thin Kirstie Alley!)would probably be best experienced on drugs. The giftshop has Dianetics in at least thirty languages and you can cap it with a free e-meter test!
