Johnny first developed his hilarious drawings in the self-published title Angry Youth Comix. Johnny's unmistakable and humorous drawings have appeared in MAD, LA Weekly, National Geographic Kids, Hustler, Vice Magazine, Cool & Strange Music, The Stranger, and his work has earned multiple Ignatz, Harvey , and Eisner award nominations as well as a spot on Rolling Stone’s 2005 Hot List.
