Transplants from neo-gothic New Orleans to brooding Brooklyn, Collin Ruffino and David Gross, aka Home Video, show off their musical minimalism inspired by such diverse greats as Edward Gorey, Nine Inch Nails, and Chopin. They blend electronica with slow-burning pop for a full-on rock show.

Fauna Flash—Roland Appel and Christian Prommer, the reigning German kings of drum & bass—show off their "genre-may-care" attitude with energetic remixes grounded in urban club music with hints of house, dub, jazz, latin, hip-hop, soul, and brazil.
