THOUGHT BUNKER

Fight with Words! Live Nude Brain!

Two contestants draw words from a hat. Perhaps one gets "puppy" and one
gets "mountain." Perhaps one gets "sky" and one gets "facelift."
Perhaps one gets "sandwich" and one gets "leg."

The contestants must fight for their word -- leg over sandwich,
sandwich over leg. They must fight like they mean it. They must mean it.

There are rounds. The winners move on. There will be prizes.

Presented by Superbunker.

Hank May ~ Free

Sun. Nov. 19th - 5pm

Hank May, the 15 (almost 16) year old singer/songwriter from LA. This kid is
talented. According to Hank, the recordings on his MySpace were made in a rush, just so that his friends
could hear them. His influences come from the likes of Jeff Mangum, Isaac Brock,
Okkervil River, and Elliott Smith. Alot of older bands don't have a sound that they seem as comfortable with as Hank does with
his sound. You have to hear them for yourself, just keep in mind that he is 15 years old. Its so great to hear someone my same age making music like this,
its really exciting. Truth Hanging From A Door

The provocative and unpredictable Petra Haden and her choir of six, The Sell Outs, perform a capella covers of the Beach Boys, Bach, and the Who's classic rock album The Who Sell Out.

One of the triplet daughters of legendary jazz bassist Charlie Haden. Her ability to both develop complex arrangements in her head and recreate instrumental sounds with her voice were fully realized in her first solo album Imaginaryland, which was composed largely of Petra's a cappella voice collages.
