Christmas for Kids ~ Free

Saturday  December 9, 2006 11am - 2pm
Downtown’s historic Grand Central Market will hold its 16th
annual “Christmas for the Kids”, celebrating LA's children and - in the
spirit of holiday giving - invites them to participate in a day of fun and
fantasy. All children in attendance will receive a free photo with Santa Claus
and a gift bag of toys, candy and other surprises. The first 400 families of
each child will receive a booklet of Grand Central Market gift certificates,
valid at any of the Market's vendors.

The Eagle Rock Music Festival is brought to you buy the Center For the Arts, Eagle Rock. It's a free event but to contribute a donation, all proceeds support the Center's free after-school programs for middle and high school students.

The San Gennaro Foundation is a nonprofit organization first founded by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and producer Douglas De Luca. The festival is Italian-themed with fine food and wine from some of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. There are also "precious cheeses" from Ralphs... (make of that what you will, but there's free entry)
